The Warriors had a solid season with their 13-5 dual meet marks of last season and they should be excited about the upcoming season. They will return thirteen wrestlers with a great deal of experience including five section place winners. So despite the graduation of four very good seniors including three state qualifiers look for the Warriors to make a strong challenge for both Conference and Section dual meet honors. Mack Glasby, Jessen Franzen, Tyler Kohlmeir and Luke Boran should be their key leaders this upcoming season.

The Cardinals of Willmar will be looking for big things this season with the graduation of only one senior. They have back from their final four appearance in the section dual meet campaign seven section place winners including three state qualifiers and ten others with a great deal of varsity experience. The Cardinals should make a strong challenge for both conference and section honors. Alex Johannes, Nathan Swoyer, Seth Pollock, Coty Milhausen, Eugene Stepan and Nathan Mittag should be key leaders for them this season.

The E The Eagles of St. Cloud Apollo should be looking forward to another great season, however they will be hard pressed to match those dual meet number season of 26-4. The 2009-2010 season was the best in school history for the Eagles. The Eagles graduated seven seniors including five state qualifiers including two state qualifiers. They will have four state qualifiers returning including state champion Mitch Bengtson, state placers Nam Nguyen and Grant Nehring. They will also have section runner up Grant Dullinger, section place winner Alex Lawwell and Matt Braun. If they can fill out their upper weight with .500 wrestlers they could challenge for Conference and Section honors again this season.

The Storm will be looking to make a big improvement on those dual meet numbers from last season. With the graduation of just three seniors of which one was a state qualifier they should make a strong challenge for both Conference and Section dual meet honors. They have more experience back than anyone in the conference including eight section place winners, including two state qualifiers and seven others with a lot of experience. Look for Erik Olson, Austin Walz, Ryan Medlen, Mitch Mehwerth, Tyler Diederich and Stephen Bucholz to be their leaders this season.

The Spuds of Moorhead had a great season last year as they posted a 14-8 dual meet mark, back from that team are four section place winners and five others with a great deal of varsity experience. The Spuds did graduate eight seniors including six section place winners of which two were state tourney wrestlers for they will be hard pressed to challenge those dual meet numbers of last season. However with the experience they have back and if they can fill in with younger wrestlers they should be very competitive the end of the season, they will looking to surprise in this very balance dual meet campaign. Chas Morlock, Brock Tallakson, Jacob Rositas and A. J. Wheeler should be the key leaders for the Spuds this season.
